Sydney serves as a Senior Project Manager on the H-CPM team, where she focuses on value-add initiatives, opportunistic programming and investing, and project scope definition. Her professional career has been deeply rooted in the hospitality design and construction industries, with project management experience spanning ownership groups, design and architecture firms, hospitality operators, and asset management organizations.
Over the years, Sydney has successfully overseen projects from conception to completion, bringing a holistic understanding of the industry’s complexities and nuances to each team and initiative. Her hospitality project management expertise includes market analysis, F&B strategy development, retail integration, brand selection, revenue management, capital planning, and more. She consistently leverages her unique owner/operator mindset to maximize renovation and design impact relative to overall project spend.
Most recently, Sydney worked at Ground LVL as a Project Manager for the Project Development Services subsidiary of HEI Hotels & Resorts. She regularly led negotiations between lenders, owners, operators, brands, and design and construction professionals. She considers strategic risk identification and mitigation to be central to her project management philosophy.
Throughout her career, Sydney has served as project manager on full-service, upper-upscale, and luxury renovation projects valued up to $35MM, and supported ground-up developments up to $250MM in an Assistant Project Manager role.
